Camp Chapman

Located in the Central Coast’s stunning hinterland, Camp Chapman offers access to walking tracks encompassing Aboriginal carvings, a rock pool, and dramatic wildflower displays in Spring.

Camp Chapman is a Coastal Valleys Region Campsite managed by Brisbane Water Division.  It has been created for Girl Guides and community members of all ages to enjoy the bush in a friendly, relaxed style.

Located 45 minutes from Hornsby and only five minutes from the F3, the property contains acres of natural bush with cleared areas for camping.

With sufficient equipment for 11 patrols, the campsite can accommodate a whole region.


Accommodation x 28

Banksia Lodge sleeps twenty eight in bunk beds (four rooms of six and a Leaders room with four). An assessor’s room is available with an ensuite for assessment camps.The dining room and activity room could accommodate extras on airbeds (NB. No stretchers).


Camping x 11 Patrols

There are fully equipped level campsites and two shelters for campsite users on Parnoo and Pindari. Equipped for eleven patrols.
A BBQ shelter is available near the lodge. Woodfire cooking is also available in season, with plenty of wood supplied. Please check current fire regulations before using the BBQ.


Amenities x 6

The amenities block contains six showers (with hot water) and six toilets. These are shared with Lodge hirers if campsite and Lodge are both in use. Dividing door separates the two sections.
There is a wheelchair access bathroom in the activities room.

Where to find us


Follow the RSPCA signs from the F3, this will take you along Wisemans Ferry Road to Bimbil Road. Turn right at the intersection, Reeves Road is straight ahead and the property is the first on the right after crossing the bridge.
